This is Not Science ...But it is Based On it: Trust And Collaboration As The Basis For Building a Better Ecosystem

All studies agree that entrepreneurs are not a mere consequence of development, but important drivers of it.

My job is working with entrepreneurs and their projects, and I do this 24/7. If you’ve ever had a venture of your own, you know that it requires your full attention and energy. So, this inevitably led me to think about trust and collaboration in this sphere of knowledge. It seemed so obvious to me that they are unavoidably linked to entrepreneurship, and incredibly important.

Trust and Collaboration

Lately, I have been studying trust and collaboration in organizations and the different dimensions in which they operate and play significant roles.

The key is to understand the factors that drive or deteriorate them and on this put together an action plan that involves everyone and continues to feedback over time. It seems that I have told you something obvious, but it is complex and requires other minds.

Entrepreneurship connects us with our most vulnerable parts: it requires us to know ourselves, to connect with our interior, to trust, and to risk completely. It is no coincidence that many of the entrepreneurship programs use as slogans of their initiatives verbs that point to "jump", "dare", "accelerate", and "transform". Once we’re inside and a part of this process, the endless terminologies, and methodologies that most of the time create barriers appear. And that is exactly what can NOT happen in our field, we already have too many!

When there’s damage to trust and collaboration

Drowning others in the same thing that submerged us, only makes teams lose purpose followed by damage due to frustration and lack of motivation of peers or leaders and their environments. Again, damage to trust and collaboration.
