My purpose evolved into a vision of expanding the economy with HSE stories in the age of AI and crypto: Hope, Soul, and EnCourage. The EnCourage coins/tokens/NFTs serve as marketing tools for a community-backed cryptocurrency. Hope embodies abundance and innovation, Soul signifies purpose, and EnCourage acknowledges the psychological need for motivation and basic security. These elements reflect the wisdom shared by a Buddhist monk at Kogenji, who likened enlightenment to a circular journey of human experience. For years, I've voyaged through passions for music, knowledge, and entrepreneurship. Yet, my enthusiasm for sustainability was challenged by political impotence in addressing climate change and COVID-19. Scarcity narratives dominated mainstream media, overshadowing the urgency of collaboration over war. It’s intriguing to witness discussions at the World Economic Forum addressing the North-South economic divide, where climate credits challenge the traditional IMF debts. Our current economic systems often contradict true value creation, emphasizing GDP over genuine well-being. Bhutan's Gross National Happiness emphasizes happiness and fulfillment, a stark contrast to GDP-centered metrics. Such indices, while praised, don't always reflect true happiness. Even in Norway, with high scores, scarcity and loneliness persist. Our economies often overlook activities beneficial to individuals and communities, like self-sustaining food and care for family, which GDP fails to recognize.
