Why We're Taking This Step

Over the years, we've experimented with various platforms to facilitate community interaction. Our previous attempt with "Circles," a forum-like feature on our old platform, faced challenges due to a cumbersome interface and limited participation. Technical obstacles further hampered its effectiveness, leading us to seek alternatives.

Similarly, while WhatsApp groups served us well in the past, they quickly became fragmented and exclusive as our community grew. This format made it difficult for everyone to participate, ultimately hindering the inclusive environment we aim to cultivate.

The Discord Experience

We also explored Discord for real-time chats, hoping it would align with the dynamic needs of our professional community. However, the fast-paced nature of conversations proved challenging for many, particularly busy professionals and global members who found it hard to keep up or even to engage at all. We also faced issues with linking users to ExO Pass, ongoing security concerns with fake accounts, and other limitations. While this experiment didn't fully meet our needs, it provided valuable insights for our community engagement strategy.

Embracing the Forum Format

With these experiences in mind, we're returning to the basics with a classic forum / message board format. We believe this approach is ideal for nurturing thoughtful discussions, sharing updates, and gathering meaningful feedback. Our goal is to create a robust community that supports one another in pursuing exponential growth and innovation. The new forums will be a hub where members can:
